Directions to PRO Chemical & Dye

PRO Chemical & Dye :: Synthrapol, PROsapol & Retayne :: Retayne

Retayne

Retayne: A liquid cationic dye fixing agent. This is used as a pre-treatment on commercially dyed cotton fabrics that tend to bleed easily. It also helps to improve the wet fastness when coloring paper pulp. Retayne is helpful as an after treatment for Reactive Dyes where washing facilities are not adequate for complete washout.

NOTE: Retayne does not work in front loading washing machines. There is not enough water in those machines for the Retayne to be applied appropriately. You will need to use a top loader OR treat the fabric in a pot on top of the stove, with enough 140F water for the fabric to move around freely.
